Join the ranks of Canadian dignitaries, American presidents, Hollywood entertainers, and professional athletes who have all fished for the Atlantic Salmon on the world-renowned Restigouche River. The biggest fish ever caught on this river was over 70 lbs! Our guests have landed 40-pounders and we hope that you will be the next one to break the record.

You will have the opportunity to fish eight kilometres (five miles) of Larry’s Gulch private pools. You will also have the chance to cast in different pools during your stay so that everyone has the best possibility to hook salmon a in one of our pools. 

Bring your own tackle or let us equip you. Your 3-day, 2-night stay (based on double occupancy), includes all meals, snacks and professional guides as well as the use of all the necessary gear, canoes, whether you are a seasoned pro or a first-time fisherperson. Bring some outdoor clothing for warm July summer days, and cool August nights.

Guides

Our guides guarantee they will provide you with local stories and witty, down-home humour. They pilot their own canoe which carries up to two guests at a time. Our policy requires that only one person fish at a time with their guide. 

Dining

Guests are treated to full home-cooked meals including local specialties such as salmon and fiddleheads. Our dining room looks out onto the river and offers a large table to get together with other guests to discuss how you landed the biggest one yet.

A Day at the Lodge

A typical day at Larry’s Gulch Lodge starts at 7 a.m. with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, fishing is the name of the game until lunch time. The afternoon is open for relaxation and supper is served at 5:00 p.m. followed by fishing until dusk.

Enjoy our air-conditioned lodge and rooms as you relax and get away from the stress of the daily routine. We offer a variety of private and shared rooms each with their own bathroom including shower or bathtub. The lodge is designed to accommodate up to 16 people.
